BALTIMORE (January 29, 2008) Chesapeake Real Estate Group, LLC has announced that William Steffey and Katherine Hennessey have joined the Company as members of the leasing and development team. Steffey, formerly with Coldwell Banker Commercial, is a developer and focuses on retail leasing as well as some tenant representation in the Washington, DC and Greater Baltimore markets. Mr. Steffey will be providing retail leasing, tenant representation and development services for the company.

Chesapeake has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2005 by Doug Schmidt and Jim Lighthizer. Along with numerous office, retail, industrial projects and its recently acquired Bagby Building, the Company’s most notable project is the 9 building, 1.5 million square foot industrial park at Baltimore Crossroads @95 in White Marsh.
